In this episode, we review the Market Report for Agder, as well as sustainability in practice.

As usual, the broadcast was hosted by Unni Mesel from Næringsmegleren.

The first guest in the studio was Jens Helge Hodne, Senior Partner at Næringsmegleren. He presented the latest edition of Næringsmegler's market report. He updated us on recent vacancy figures, rental prices, and not least the future outlook for commercial properties in the region.

Among other things, we heard about major changes in interest rates and yields, and we discussed what impact this has on property values. The demands from financial institutions have rarely been greater, and we looked at what this is doing to the market.

Next up was Christian Skarpeid, operations manager for Sandens. He gave us concrete examples of how both the shopping center and the office buildings have reduced their environmental emissions and achieved far lower energy costs through simple measures. You may be familiar with BREEAM-Nor, but did you know that there is a similar certification called BREEAM In-Use, which focuses on existing buildings? Sandens gave us valuable insights from this process.
