Privacy statement for Næringsmegleren AS

Your privacy is important to Næringsmegleren AS and we are concerned with protecting the integrity, availability and confidentiality of personal data. All processing of personal data in Næringsmegleren AS must comply with the privacy regulations in force at all times, including the GDPR and the Personal Data Act.

This Privacy Policy provides additional information about what personal information is collected, how the information is collected and what rights you have if personal information about you is registered with us.

Data controller

Næringsmegleren AS was established in 2001 and consists of seven employees. The company is Sørlandet's largest estate agent that focuses exclusively on commercial property. The office is in Kristiansand, but our geographical catchment area is the whole of Agder.

The general manager of Næringsmegleren AS is primarily responsible for the processing of personal data carried out by Næringsmegleren AS.

Our processing of personal data

Næringsmegleren AS processes personal data for the following main purposes:

• Implementation of ongoing assignments related to real estate activities, which include the processing of personal data about clients, stakeholders and buyers in order to fulfil the agreement on sale / rental of real estate / limited companies.

• Processing of personal data to market Næringsmegleren AS' services.

• Implementation of statutory obligations, such as client control under the Anti-Money Laundering Act.

• Implementation of courses/conference activities arranged by Næringsmegleren AS.

How long do we store your personal information?

We have routines internally for deleting personal information when we no longer need it. Personal information that is publicly available (e.g., name and address) will not normally be deleted.

Furthermore, we will delete personal information about you if you ask us to do so, unless we have a legal basis or a statutory obligation to store the personal information further.

Do others have access to your personal information?

We will not share your personal information with others unless this is necessary to fulfill our obligations to public authorities, or to carry out the assignment to which you are a party.

Use of data processors

Næringsmegleren AS enters into separate data processing agreements with all businesses that process personal data on our behalf. Our data processors cannot process your personal data in any other way than as agreed with us and described in this privacy policy.

Where is your personal information stored?

Personal information processed by Næringsmegleren AS is stored digitally on servers in Norway and Europe. We do not store personal data in countries outside the EU/EEA. Information that is stored locally is secured in a reassuring manner.

Information security

We take information security seriously and have established appropriate security measures to protect the availability and integrity of your personal information. Access to your personal information is limited to employees who have a service need for such access. We provide training to employees and third parties where relevant to promote awareness of our privacy policies and practices.

Rights

You have the right to access and correct or delete personal data or limit the processing that applies to you, or to protest against the processing as well as the right to data portability. Furthermore, you can at any time withdraw any consent to the processing of your personal data. Excluded from this is the deletion of information that we are required by current legislation to retain.

You also have the right not to be the subject of a decision that is based solely on automated processing that has legal effect for, or in a similar way to a significant degree, affects you.

If you believe that we process personal data in violation of the law, you can file a complaint to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority ( post@datatilsynet.no ).

Privacy Coordinator:

Næringsmegleren AS has appointed a personal privacy coordinator who assists with guidance so that personal data is processed in a good way and in line with the regulations.
